Our office

Veenhof Notariaat is an Amsterdam notary office. We stand for a personal and involved approach. It is a small office, which means short lines of communication and direct service. We focus primarily on individuals and aim to serve our clients at a skilled and high level.
Our lawyers are constantly developing themselves by attending (specialist) training courses so that the (latest) notarial developments hold no secrets for us.

Veenhof Notariaat has extensive experience in general (city) practice. We focus particularly on family law and private real estate practice. Moreover, our firm has a large network of specialists such as lawyers, tax consultants and accountants. Therefore, if necessary, we can also put you in touch with other knowledgeable professionals!

Historie

Notaris Mr. G.B.P. (GertJan) Veenhof is vanaf 1996 actief in het Amsterdamse notariaat. Vanaf 15 december 2017 is hij de opvolger van oud-notaris mr. H.E.M. (Hélène) Faasen en vanaf 30 juni 2021 tevens de opvolger van oud-notaris Mr. J.W. (Jaap) van Zaane. Als opvolger houdt mr. GertJan Veenhof alle akten en dossiers van beide oud-notarissen onder zich.

Mr.  Hélène Faasen werd in juni 1999 benoemd tot notaris.  Mr. Hélène Faasen was ten tijde van haar terugtreden als notaris in maatschapsverband verbonden met mr. N. (Nicoline) Grijmans-Veenendaal, advocate te Amsterdam. Inmiddels heeft mr. Nicoline Veenendaal de overstap gemaakte naar de rechterlijke macht en is zij niet meer actief als advocate.  

Mr. Jaap van Zaane werd in december 2000 benoemd tot notaris in Amsterdam, hij is op dit moment verbonden aan Veenhof Notariaat voor twee dagen in de week. Daarnaast is mr. Jaap van Zaane plaatsvervangend raadsheer bij de familiekamer van het Gerechtshof te Amsterdam.
